The purpose of this site is to collect lab research by medical doctors about herbs that are proven to treat illnesses and counter the false attacks on herbs by the medical industry and false claims by alternative medicine. I let the science tell the facts.

Directory of causes of Disease

The chart below proves that the increase of toxins and chemicals since WWII has increased disease even though modern medicine has great new inventions and cures.

Three things have increased the same as this chart on diabetes;

  1. New chemicals, genetically altered foods and food additives.
  2. Every disease such as caner and new ones such as Alzheimer's have increased the same as diabetes.
  3. Hormone problems including gender and mental issues have increased at this same rate.

Evaluation of items to reduce toxins:

1. Calcium D-glucarate Calcio D-Glucarato, Calcium Glucarate, Calcium-D Glucarate, Calcium-D-Glucarate, D-Glucarate (GA), D-glucaro-1,4-lactone (1,4 GL), Glucarate de Calcium.

a. "Calcium D-glucarate is a chemical. It is similar to a naturally occurring chemical called glucaric acid. Glucaric acid is found in our bodies as well as in fruits and vegetables such as oranges, apples, brussels sprouts, broccoli, and cabbage...Calcium D-glucarate is used for preventing breast, prostate, and colon cancer; and for removing cancer-causing agents, toxins, and steroid hormones from the body...Calcium D-glucarate might lower estrogen levels, and this is thought to be helpful in treating some people with hormone-dependent cancers. There isn't enough evidence to support the use of calcium D-glucarate for preventing cancer in humans." http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-136-CALCIUM%20D-GLUCARATE.aspx?activeIngredientId=136&activeIngredientName=CALCIUM+D-GLUCARATE
b. "Organ cancer production which just occurs spontaneously because of oxidative stress to DNA is also not likely to be protected against, as increasing glucuronidation does not per se decrease oxidative stress in the body (it might just reduce the oxidative effects of toxins)." http://examine.com/supplements/Calcium-D-Glucarate/
c. "...We tested calcium D-glucarate (CG) given in the diet, while resveratrol (RES) and ursolic acid (UA) were applied topically...These results show that UA is a potent inhibitor of skin tumor promotion and inflammatory signaling and it may be useful in the prevention of skin cancer and other pithelial cancers in humans. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23835587

2. Activated Charcoal (good to remove toxins, used in hospitals, used for venomous spider, wasp bites, but may not be wise for daily use)

a. "...Activated charcoal is good at trapping chemicals and prevents their absorption." http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-269-ACTIVATED%20CHARCOAL.aspx?activeIngredientId=269&activeIngredientName=ACTIVATED+CHARCOAL
b. "...chronic renal failure (CRF)...Activated charcoal...is a useful sorbent agent in dietary adenine-induced CRF in rats and that its usability as a nephroprotective agent (nephro means kidney.) in human kidney disease should be studied." http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24412558

(1) Read this article on how to use activated charcoal.http://wellnessmama.com/247/how-to-use-activated-charcoal/
(2) "While activated carbon is useful in acute poisoning, it has been shown to not be effective in long term accumulation of toxins, such as with the use of toxic herbicides." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Activated_carbon see paragraph titled Medical Applications.

3. Nanomagnets

a." Nanomagnets are single cell magnets. "...Canonical examples of nanomagnets are grains [1][2] of ferromagnetic metals (iron, cobalt, and nickel) and single-molecule magnets.[3] The vast majority of nanomagnets feature transition metal (titanium, vanadium, chromium, manganese, iron, cobalt or nickel) or rare earth (Gd, Eu, Er) magnetic atoms.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanomagnet

(1) Note; titanium, vanadium, chromium, manganese and iron are available in mineral suppliments.
(2) Caution; read this article before ingesting any suppliment. http://www.naturalnews.com/039271_vitamins_supplements_magnesium_stearate.html

b. "Endotoxin removal by magnetic separation-based blood purification.
This work describes a magnetic separation-based approach using polymyxin B-functionalized metal alloy nanomagnets for the rapid elimination of endotoxins from human blood...We present the synthesis and functionalization of ultra-magnetic cobalt/iron alloy nanoparticles and a magnetic separation-based approach using polymyxin B-functionalized nanomagnets to remove endotoxin from human blood...impairs the ability of gram-negative bacteria to form colony forming units, thus making magnetic separation based blood purification a promising new approach for future sepsis treatment. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23225582
